Robbie Renwick won the Most Inspirational Performance of 2010 Award at the Scottish Sports Awards which took place at the Glasgow Hilton last night. The Awards will be broadcast on Scottish Television on 5th December.

Robbie was presented with the award in recognition of winning Scotland's first gold at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi earlier this year. Robbie dedicated the win to his coach, Eileen Adams, who tragically died from breast cancer earlier in the year.
The importance of the performance was recognised by fellow Scot, and most successful snooker player of all time, Stephen Hendry: "I was really inspired by Robbie Renwick. What he achieved was fantastic."

We wish Robbie well in his ongoing preparations for the London 2012 Olympic and Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
